Here are some search engines to search the Internet. Suggest you start with Google and then one of the meta-search engines, such as Dogpile.
Google now allows one to specify constraints on searches within a web site by prefixing the search term with 'site:', i/e., the web site of interest followed by a colon. They also now allow specifiying exclusion terms with a minus sign in front to the exclusion term.
The Meta-Search Engines will take your request and query several other search engines so you can sometimes get more results for a simple call than with the above sites. Some examples of this category are -
The following sites provide searches of technical, especially electronic, subjects -
The following sites provide information about personal search robots that can search the web for specified items -
The following sites provide a personalized service where you can specify what you wish to be notified about -
The following sites provide reports and news about most of the major search engines -
The following is an on-line encyclopedia that covers many subjects. But unfortunately, has degenerated into dumping obnoxious, inane and impossible to delete commercials to your browser. Using this site is not a pleasant experience!
