SC90 and SC91 Detailed Board Specifications
- SC90 board: Cpu: Zilog Z86C90 operating at 12.288 Mhz.
- SC91 board: Cpu: Zilog Z86C91 operating at 16. Mhz.
- Memory mapping:
- Program memory: 0000h - 7FFFh: Eprom
- Program memory: 8000h - FFFFh: Static ram
- Data memory: 0000h - 7FFFh: Static ram
- Data memory: 8000h - FFFFh: Static ram
- All IC's are socketed.
- Board size: 4 by 6 inches (really 6 by 10 cm Eurocard).
- Power: 9 Volts AC or DC; wall transformer supplied.
- External host interface: serial RS-232 with DE-9 connector.
- I/O Ports 2 & 3:
- Port lines brought out to header pins.
- Uart I/O and data memory select lines are controlled with jumpers.
- All cpu control signals are brought out to a 28-pin header.
- On-board status indicators:
- +5 volts.
- Reset line.
- Serial receive activity.
- Serial transmit activity.
- Five buffer amplifiers are available for breadboarding.
- Breadboarding area: approximately 3 by 9 cm with a plated hole pattern
that accommodates a 96-pin DIN connector.
- An auxiliary 4 * 9 cm solderless breadboarding strip is included on the
mounting plate.
- Software: This board includes a monitor in eprom that has an extensive
internal library of register, program and data memory management commands,
program execution commands, a software uart with Control-S, Control-Q flow
control, a comprehensive mnemonic disassembler and a built-in library of 60+
monitor services.
- Full source code of the monitor, an interface library (with source code)
to a C compiler, and an introductory demonstration program is supplied.
