Methodology -

• For outside temperatures, a commercial temperature sensor (Springfield Precisetemp© or Taylor Instruments©) is mounted in a sheltered area on the north side of the building and read daily for the maximum and minimum values.
• The weekly average is obtained via standard spreadsheet averaging; which means that the plotted value reflects the situation 3 days previously and 3 days afterwards. No weighting is used.
